Week 8 in Michelangelo Class...

We have had a good week in Year 4 because we've had a good time doing our Egyptian pictures. We used oil pastels, stuck them onto real gold 😉, added real diamonds and emeralds and finished them with our cartouche (Please ask a member of Year 4 if you do not know what they are).

In Maths we looked at the different ways that we could solve maths problems.  Mrs Lawton was impressed with how we working in a group and listened to each other.

We hope you enjoyed the first post we wrote together as a class.
Don't forget to 'like' our weekly 'Climate Change' Tweet.

Welcome to the Michaelangelo Post!

This week in Michaelangelo Class we have been working hard on our times tables. We are trying to recall random multiplication facts at speed.

In our Topic work, we have been looking at different artefacts and deducing information about the Ancient Egyptians. We also learnt about the many Egyptian Gods and Godesses.

In Art we have created our own Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs and Gods. We have used oil pastels to ensure that our work is vibrantly coloured and tried to blend colours together to create depth.  We look forward to sharing them with you when we have finished.

We have finally finished our non-chronological reports on Climate Change and have learnt lots of facts. In our writing we have been very careful to use our author's voice and not write as if we are talking to our friends.

Here are some of the pictures we created so far and we look forward to finishing them next week.
