The Autumn Term Turns Cold!

This week we did cricket and it was cold but delightful.

We drew our Canopic jars from ancient Egypt and wrote sentences about them.

Today Y4 Michelangelo acted out  Heracles and the 12 labours using actions and words.

Please remember to complete 4 of your reading challenges this half term!

Well done, Georgie, Mia, Robin, Colette on writing the first Class Blog!

Remember to check out your 'To Do' list in Purple Mash and bring in your Reading Selfies next week.  The display board is all ready for you fabulous faces to be framed!

New Half Term

With Mrs Hodges we have been doing conjunctions for time or clause.

With Mrs Lawton we acted out how to Mummify an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh. The most gruesome bit was removing the brain using a small hook and rolling the body over to let it pour out their nose.

Try some of the Ancient Egyptian mummification games:

We have also been rounding money to help solve problems. Ask us to help with your shopping this weekend!
